Hello, I’m K Crady
I’ve been a reader of fantasy and science fiction for as long as I can remember. Nearly twenty years ago, I wrote a short story about a young woman who found a strange egg. I tucked it away, occasionally wondering what might happen next. When I finally returned to it, that little story became the beginning of Dragonbonded of Cyfina—and a world much larger than I ever expected to create.
The Stories I Love to Tell
I’m drawn to stories about people and the connections between them—stories about friendship, belonging, discovery, and finding balance when the world shifts beneath your feet. There may be dragons, magic, strange worlds, and a little danger along the way, but for me, the heart of a story is always its characters and the relationships they build.
Away From the Keyboard
When I’m not writing, I’m usually reading, taking photographs, tinkering with a website, or gathered around a table for a game of Dungeons & Dragons. I live in New Mexico, where mountains, desert skies, and spectacular clouds have a way of finding their way into my imagination.
I’ve also been writing at River Jacks for a few years, where you’ll find older essays, observations, and pieces of my life beyond fiction.
